Good mornin and welcome to another Bubba's Sock Drawer blog Possum's! This is the Pirates buried treasure I found it! Mine now! Would be great if it really was,but unfortunately just a bunch of old Mardi gra beads. Oooooouuu shiney! The day has started off really pretty!



I will start off the week with art work from a fan. This painted tile was sent to me in the mail. Thank you Lulu for such a fine piece of art. Hope you don't mind me sharin it with my Possum's and peeps.



Now onto Mike's artwork. He started with my Bubba mug in the center.



Mike is out at the grocery store and he does not know I'm revealin his art to the world at large. Ssssssshhhhhhhh! Don't tell him!


There are way more than these two shots. I'll have to sneak more later.

The sun sets

As the sun sets over Nashville this beautiful Sunday evenin,one wonders what to do with themselves. Out comes the imagination for a wonderous tour and guided walk through our enchanted garden. Remember the word imagination!





I was sittin on this Hollywood squares thingey out in the back alley way.......Why do we have this Hollywood Squares thingey in the back alley way? One never knows what one will find out in the back alley way,but it was quite interestin ta say the least. It was worth a photo for bloggin sake.



Next I was by this birdhouse tea pot. Can ya'll say Mad Hatter in the garden? That was what I was thinkin while ponderin if life did in fact exist on other planets. Sorry....my Sock Monkey mind tends ta wonder a bit at times. Could it be that my Polyfil stuffin moved ever so slightly to the left? It'll make your button threads go all tangled on ya!



It's a backyard with a view! The trash cans go nicely this time of year. A smell only the flies could love.


If ya'll remember,this little birdhouse had snow on it in one of our winter blogs. So now I just sit on it and perch. it's only on the fence. No birds have ever lived in it.



Ever count how many times the electric ring goes round in the meter box? Me either,but I thought it would give my Possum's something to wonder about.



Just walkin about in the flowers! House leeks bloom this time of year.



What garden would be complete without bamboo wind chimes? Can you say "that's so 70's"? Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!


This is what happens to teapots that have lost their use. They get turned into flower pots. I have a drill and I'm not afraid ta use it!

The Sunday afternoon Jarga

Brown Sock salutations on a wonderful Sunday afternoon! The temps outside are magnificent! Ya'll might want to sit a spell out on the porch. Mike and I wondered over to the train track for a photo moment.



I was sittin here wonderin if a train was gonna come along and run me over, cuttin me in half. I know Possum's! Not a pretty sight ta think of on such a wonderful fall day! Now don't go sheddin a tear, it was just a thought. We Sock Monkeys can come up with a lot of strange thoughts.


On a brighter note...Remember little Winnie Cooper from the Wonder Years? Her real name is Danika Mckeller. She and her husband had a baby boy and they named him Draco. Congrats Winnie!

Hey it's Friday

Here it is early on a Friday mornin and it's tryin to rain!The coffee is flowin like the Nile river and it's all good.



The biggest goldfish in the world was caught and then put back in the water. Try to flush this one!


Well just have a Sock Monkey cupcake! It'll make things so much better.



Perhaps a fall leaf cupcake would be the thing for such a great mornin! I just know coffee will have to be served as well.

Wenesday again

Hello Possum's on another Wenesday mornin! Two days ago it was time for a bath again. Mike has to hand wash me because I'm considered delicate. Here I am in dryin mode. Sittin in front of the airconditioner to dry. And yes I'm smellin of Ivory soap! Nice fresh smell instead of the usual dust collectin smell we Sock Monkeys alway have. We celebrities have to be washed ever so often. Not a pretty sight mind you. The hand ringin out of water is a little uncomfortable,but something that has to be done. So here I sit dryin! Labor day lunch

I guess all my Possum's are a wonderin what old Bubba had for his Labor day lunch! Did I drag out the grill and grill it? NOT!!! I went on down to the Chinese buffet for a tasty and fillin lunch. The grill is to much work. So what if it's the last part of summer. I say goodbye to it all. Summer and it's hot temps be gone! So happy Labor day to ya'll!Bubba

Labor Day

Greetins from the city of Nashville Possum's! Mike and I decided to head down town and walk about. Here I am at the walk of fame right across from the Conutry Music Hall of Fame.



A bright brisk cool mornin. Made for a great day for a walk in town.



Celebratin Labor Day I took the time to stop and smell the roses. Ain't that's what it's all about?




Here is the famous Batman buildin. Mike and I can see it from our backyard.


Pardon me while I take care of some business.



We walked around the streets of the city just so ya'll could see what's what.

This here is the Shelby bridge. It's a bridge ya'll can bike or walk across.
