Howdy Possum's! Hope ya'll have enjoyed our holiday festivities. I was glad ta share them with ya'll. I tried ta host my New years eve party for ya'll last night,but we experienced technical difficulties. Sorry for that. We have now worked out the kinks. I had a big bash planned last night. Our Jpeg sizer was actin up and prevented us from continuin with our blog broadcast.
Now we can only reflect back over the past year and hope any mistakes we made we can only learn from and move on. Let bye gones be bye gones. Let's all look toward the future and do whatever it takes for us to make that happen. In a good lovin way. We must all try and get along as God intended us to do. We must all embrace the friendships we have made,keep your enemies close and run like hell when they look at you weird! And that's exactly what we plan ta do!
I purposely saved the pumpkin this year so's we could have some fun mixin the holidays up. It gave Mike and myself somethin ta do with each other taday! Tryin ta be original with our celebrations and to always have fun and laugh. Mike always tries ta smile at whom ever is walkin by and to embrace ya'll for who you are. Don't worry,be happy! He and I have tried our best to live by this moto in 2008. It worked for pretty much most of the time. We did encounter one strange person and we did not know how to even be around this person,so we have choosen for 2009,that we will only smile and say hello if presented with their presence. End of story.
Stop and smell the roses in 2009! It will only make your life better. Take time ta notice the small things,for they may never be presented to you again. Try not ta miss the important things. It's the small things that make life worth livin! Live life to the fullest! Life is a precious gift when God breathed life into our lungs in the beginnin. Hold onto it with all you've got! Stop tryin ta be in control. Let go and let God. He will take you to where ya'll need to be if ya let him. Ya'll can fight it all ya want,but sometimes he's gonna take ya there anyway. This past year has been a great year for Mike and myself. He has a fantastic job he loves dearly and no one is gonna get in his way or ruin the joy he has when he's there. He works with wonderful people he is proud to know and hope we can all be the best we can be in 2009! Mike works with four young ladies that are the most wonderful artist he's ever met in his entire life. He hand choose them and has given any wisdom in the cake world he can offer them to make them the best damn cake decorators they can be and they have truely been a joy in his life. Yes, he has pushed them only because he knows they are the best! The compliments have spoken for themselves. He has been glad to share with them. Cause it has taken the four of us to pull together as a team and make it happen. Ladies,2009 can only get better! Mike takes his hat off to ya'll! He thanks ya'll for bein in his life!

Let the snow angels of life make ya smile. Like we said before it's the small things in life that matter. No one can change your path but you. The challenge is ta git up and not leave footsteps as you walk away from the snow angel. That can only happen when a friend helps you. A true friend will help you achieve this and the both of ya'll will marvel at your success!
Stop and catch a snowflake on your tongue and marvel at the miracle that they even exist! If ya looked at them under a microscope,they are a work of art! Very beautiful!
Encourage the cake decorator workin next to ya on the table of life ta make an owl because she saw it in your house. May it inspire her work! That's what it was put there ta do. The real challenge? How many forms of the owl can you produce and amaze us each and every time? Work it girl! There has been so many times Mike's journal has been an inspiration to those around him. Did ya ever once stop and think God has guided you there? Maybe it's ya'll that have somethin ta learn. There are so many that hide out in the alley and come in the back door of life because they are afraid to face the front life has ta offer. There are some who claim ta be the preachers of the good Lords word and fail at every turn. Maybe the one pushin you is teachin you and not the task you think is in front of you. Things aren't always what they seem and we are all on a journey. We may not agree with what is before us,but the higher powers that be works in mysterious ways. The journey you may have thought you were on may suddenly be wiped away! You may find yourself somewhere that only taught you somethin and no one else. Creation can be a marvelous and wonderful thing if ya take the time ta stop and listen. God may not talk to us in a burin bush as he once did,but stop and listen for he is all around us! He will tell you where ya need ta be.
Stop and eat a piece of watermelon! And think,Hey! It's my turn! No more Drama in 2009! Practice what ya preach! Maybe that was the words God wanted you to hear and nobody else. Did ya ever stop and think about that? Drama shows it's head in many forms. You may find yourself talkin to the air in the privacy of your own livin room. Thinkin your alone. Sometimes there are people listenin that shouldn't be there. They can be the ones that bring that drama even when you've never spoke of these things to another livin person. Mike and I don't question anymore. It's their Journey that God may have them in your life to teach them somethin. Let go and Let God! We step aside and let God do his work.
This is only a small portion of where we are in the universe! We cannot even imagine how big it all is! We are only a speck of dust compared to the vastness in this great big light show! Be the best ya'll can be in 2009! Let go and let God! Bubba
