Hey Possum's! For those of you that live in TN.,did ya ever wonder what that loud sound is when ya go outside this time of year? It's the 13 years cicadas. They have come up out of the ground. The sound you hear is the males making their matin call. It takes a full 13 years for them to mature.
This is what they look like. They sometimes fly right into you when your ouside. Their pretty harmless. They don't bite or anything like that. It's the buzz here and they talk about them quite often on the news. Bug collectors are havin a feild day right now. They've studied them. That's the word for this Wednesday. Bubba
