Good evenin Possum's! Ya'll remember my little shabby shek white chair? Well...shabby shek is out, so I decided to spend the afternoon paintin it red. I loved the way it turned out! Matches my brown sock red heeled smile. Not to mention I had on a red outfit.



Watch out!!!!!! Wet paint goin on here. be sure not to sit down or the back side of your outfit will be red! I have been sittin here watchin the paint dry this afternoon! What else does a Sock Monkey do in his spare time? Just a little red chair paint update. I am lovin the new look! I know that in time this to will turn into the shabby shek look of chipped paint. Just give it time.Bubba

Glorious Sunday

It's a glorious Sunday and the weather is wonderfully cool day! The sun is shinin and the blessins, they are a flowin! Hello Possum's and Peeps!! Come on in to Bubba's Sock Drawer and sit a spell. Maybe, just maybe you will leave with a fantastic smile on your faces! Sock Monkey love all around! Lots has happen the last few days. My Dad got layed off from his Job,So we here at the Sock Drawer are askin for your prayers in this matter. Some times it's time to move on, but things of this nature can be very scarey. With God by our sides we can do anything it takes to make the transitions into new jobs and adventures in our lives. Found a little poem I'd like to share with you.....

Saturday evein update

Good evenin my little scrunches! Bubba here and ready for the fun to begin! Ya'll know the crazy me that I am,I saw this old ragged out chair sittin across the street and thought oh well,looks like a photo moment. And so it was. Like I always say,it's the little things in life that make you smile. I can still do a good fudderwacken! If ya'll have seen Disneys Alive in Wonderland, you'll know what that is. But I'll tell ya'll what that is anyway. It's a dance! I'm a limber Sock Monkey who can pull it off! Cain't touch this!!!! There's Sock monkey in the world bringin a smile all along the way! It never fails! Looks like my Dad is back in the Sock Monkey makin business. He has been away from it for a long time and looks forward to gettin down to business. Still posin on the pumpkins! The life and times of a Sock Monkey! Is there anything better? A good Sock Monkey hug and we're off and runnin! My birthday party was fun. Sorry for the collapse on the floor,but I was tuckered out! I'm gettin a little to old to keep that kind of pace anymore. Now for some news update....



Cher has decided to leave her Vegas show. Looks like it's time for another Farewell tour! The awesome Diva was quoted saying she missed the tourin thang!


That's better than 7 Harry Potters on a busy Tuesday afternoon! The last book will be made into two movies. The first part will be out this fall! Certainly can't wait to see that! But as the story goes,it will be sad when the last of the movies has come and gone. Is there life after Harry Potter? We'll just have to wait and find out won't we? The stories have more than kept us fans entertained for years! Just grab your Sock Monkeys and take them on a trip! That's all for now!Bubba
