Three days till Christmas

Merry Christmas Possums and Peeps this wonderful Holiday season! Candy canes grace my Sock Monkey lap! No problems in my book! The Christmas Music fills the air here in our holiday home. The Temp ya'll ask here in Nashville? 9 degrees this mornin!!!!! Cold doesn't even begin to cover it! We might reach a woppin 25 drgrees today accordin to the radio. Hey Possums,Bubba's red heel smile is gonna freeze in place.


Not even an Alyce Keener can fuck up this Christmas! The Christmas spirit Is filled in our home! We are not even payin attention to her bullshit! Whatever BITCH! Mike and I don't have the funds for Christmas,so we upped our comcast movie channels for our Christmas. That was gonna be our Christmas. Low and behold the TV went out! Do ya'll think God is tryin ta tell us something? We just sit and stair at the cable box! Isn't it pretty? Has two little lights on it. Mathes the Christmas tree if ya'll ask me. We have been reduced to a log cabin Christmas and we're still blessed! Merry Christmas all around us in our need of a Christmas miracle! Everything happens for a reason,so they say. Us with our Waltons radio on a playin the Christmas tunes! And in the words of The Grinch,watch out I'm gettin my quotation marks ready....."Chritmas doesn't come from packages,boxes and bags." Maybe it's so very much more...



So I sit here with my plate of Christmas goodies! Gettin my sugar high and lovin Christmas! Mike pours himself another Christmas cocktail as his grin spreads wider than the one the Grinch has! But we are very happy and know that God has blessed us!



The pecan pies have been baked and they smell heavenly! Mike won't let me touch them until Christmas! He shore did smack my little Sock Monkey hand! I splashed his Christmas cocktail in his face and we just laughed and had a good old time! All the while Alyce Keener with a snarl on her face! We laughed and giggled knowin this fact! DEAD POODLE!@!!! And then we laughed and giggled some more!



Just look at all the Christmas stuff! Isn't it so pretty? We truely are havin a log cabin Christmas,but somehow that doesn't seem to matter. We have nothing,but our two Chihuahus and each other and that is enough for us! The blessins keep on flowin!



If we had a Christmas table this year,it would look something like this. Wine flowin from every corner! Some one screamed PATRICK from the corner,but we weren't even payin any attention to them! Not sure what was up with that,but we know it has something to do with the Bitch Keener shit. Degree deorant out on the front lawn along with a bottle of booze and waitin for the conversations to commence! And then we laughed and giggled some more! Rollin on the floor this time around! Tears streamin from our eyes as we could not contain ourselves!




The homemade Ganache bein stirred and chocolatey goodness awiats us. True,we are gonna throw it in Bitch Keeners face as the Fried Green Tomato's food fight commences in the Kitchen! Merry Christmas! Bubba

Three days till Chjristmas

Christmas everywhere

Christmas central here in Nashville! My human,Mike, took me to work with him last night and we had a Christmas night together. Being a professional cake decorator of 30 years,at holiday time puts him on over nighters to keep up with the demands of his fabulosity!


Gingerbread houses are poppin up all around! This one was done by his coworker. We won't reveal her name. But it's awesome just the same.


Along the ride to Mike's job,we encountered several light displays. We just had to stop and shoot photos of them. Now these are not the fabulous ones we want to show you,but it's a start. As Christmas progresses,we will be showin ya'll many light displays in our nieghborhood.


The chicken is cookin in the oven and smells great. Mike has lost 80 pounds on his diet and is lookin good! The light displays are awesome! Love it and is part of Christmas for us. Funds do not permit us to have Christmas,but we find ways to make a wonderful Christmas. We are blessed and share Christmas in other ways.

Hello bloggers! And Merry Christmas. Ever wondered what a Sock Monkey looks like in a Christmas tree? Well now you've seen everything! Here in my retro tree and all. Yes it's original! No remakes here. Love the old time Christmas stuff.


Right down to the stockins hung by the chimney with care. These stockins are Mike's original stockins from the 60's. More for decoration this day and time. Want to keep them as long as we can.



Mike and I have wonderful memories of Christmas.

Greetins Holiday shoppers

Greetins Holiday shoppers,Peeps and Possums! Twas walkin through Walmart the other day and much to my Sock surprise,Christmas music was playin! What the #@$%*! Please,not before we feast on the turkey! Looks like they are tryin to get ya'll holiday shoppers in the mood for spendin! Keeps the economy goin! But if we don't have it,why we can't spend it. Perhaps another tax check would be in order? LOL! Sounds like a plan ta me! Run off now and barrow the money from China!


Christmas my ass cried the Sock Monkey dressed in red! I jumped with all my might on top of the Grinch! I wresstled him to the ground and begged and pleaded for him to steal Christmas back for the moment! We are not in need of the Christmas Holiday just yet! He simply replied"It doesn't come in packages,boxes and bags"! It's rather difficult to explain. So...I guess our fate for now is to continue on hearin the Christmas tunes for two solid months! Ouch!



So I just got my cup and saucer down and poured myself another cup of tea. This would require some serious thought. Perhaps I could live with my Ipod on till it's time for the Christmas spirit to hit . I simply throw my hands in the air and walk away......Bubba

We still have to pay him for the rest of his life. Tax dollars at work. But enough about all that rubbish duckie! Obama it is and it is what it is! So there ya have it. A new four years off and runnin. Soon as we swear the dude in.



And the wheel on the bus goes round and round.....Ya'll know the song. How many Presidents have you seen come and go now Mike? Let's see...You'll be 50 in April....I'd say a good many. Wow! Why your old enough to know if history repeats itself! I say old chap! What was the big bang like?LOL! Quite right old man! You've seen a 1/2 a century go by. You say the history of rock and roll was eventful? Yes I agree.



I'm sittin in my rockin chair as well. I'm the same age old man. Don't you fret.

Pumpkins are in season

October is here in full swing! The pumpkins are showin up all over the city! Looks like ornage in the new pink! Mike and I bought a pumpkin to carve and here it is. Got nice proportions and a nice size. I am already startin ta see a face on one side.



Look at the size of these pumpkins! WOW! We talkin serious jack-o-latern! We need a chainsaw for these babies!



And what about these white pumpkins? Aren't they the coolest?


Pumpkins all lined up in a row. It is clear ta me october is in full swing! I absolutely love this time of year. The temps are gettin cooler and this Thursday we go down into the 40's.




The spooks and goblins are on the prowl. Lookin ta creep ya'll out or perhaps a good scare.



The Mums are in full bloom. They are truely beautiful. Many different colors ta choose from. All the colors of fall make my heart sing.


Mike loves pumpkins eventhough he's not good with carvin. We still enjoy it. And that's all that really matters. We got the biggest spook of'em all. Her name is Alyce!



I could tell ya'll horror stories bout that bitch! Freddy Kruger is a pussy cat compared to this cunt. She stocks people! And that's just the tip of the ice burg. Not gonna ruin a perfectly good day on her. Yes! I am flippin her off! Break a pumpkin over her head! Have a great day! Bubba
